SCORCHER 21

The Original Equipment MICHELIN® tyre designed and developed to deliver superior performance with long even tread wear on Harley-Davidson® motorcycles.

A unique combination of the traditional look, agility and wet grip for the Harley-Davidson® Street RodTM motorcycle.

Why choose the MICHELIN Scorcher 21?

Traditional Cruiser Design for Confident Urban Riding

Conceived exclusively for the Harley-Davidson® Street Rod™, MICHELIN® Scorcher® 21 tyres feature the exclusive Harley-Davidson® co-branded stylings of MICHELIN® Scorcher® 31 tyres and offers excellent durability and wet and dry grip to handle the challenging conditions and hazards of city streets.  The MICHELIN Scorcher® 21 was co-designed by Michelin and Harley-Davidson to complying perfectly with cruiser styling cues, while catering for the vagaries of urban streets and uneven road surfaces.

Amplified Density Technology for Urban Agility

The highly dense and rigid tyre casing features aramid fibres, offering precise handling and agility, while delivering excellent stability at highway speeds. MICHELIN® Scorcher® 21 radial tyres offer the manueverability required by urban motorcycle riders.

Aramid fiber, which is also a feature of Michelin’s hypersport tyres, provides resistance and a lightweight feel. In addition to contributing to the MICHELIN Scorcher® 21’s sporty credentials, it ensures enhanced resistance to cuts and impacts, light weight and impeccable high-speed stability.

Silica Rain Technology for Exceptional Wet Grip

To match the innovation of Harley-Davidson®, our engineers have developed MICHELIN® Scorcher® 21 tyre with a mix of silica-rich rubber compounds to help provide exceptional wet grip in cooler temperatures and on wet roads, without compromising treadlife.

The MICHELIN Scorcher® 21’s all-silica SRT tread compounds deliver grip in cold, wet and damp conditions, as well as extended service life.
