The Sportec 01 tire features Dynatread™, the adaptive tread design technology that allows the tire's sipes to flex and deform. At high speeds, the sipes flex enough to essentially close, resulting in more rubber making contact with the road. At lower loads or speeds (e.g. cruising, rain, city traffic) the tread grooves help disperse water and retain wet traction.
